How to make USB boot use Hiren's bootCD? I can make Cdrom but not for usb. Help me.
How to make USB boot?
the way i do it, create a bootable floopy, use the usb format application that you can get from hiren webpage, format your usb and select the bootable image from floppy, then copy everything like hiren instruction.
you will boot into dos prompt and from there you have to manually run whatever application you want.

Is it just me or does anyone else still have a problem with this. I have tried making usb boot disks from website after website and still no joy, i just can't get DOS to see the usb stick at all?
Any suggestions, or is everyone else seeming to do this with no problems?

I think you to have to check in your bios to see if your PC supports booting from USB first.
If it does, set this as your first boot device, and it should work.

Yes, The BIOS will have settings to check up enabled boot devices. Then you should also set the booting device order. This will enable you to boot from USB devices. Let us know on your progress with that!
