Free flash
Does anyone know a free software to make animations similar to flash?I am a good artist but I also wanna use my skills on animations with the pictures I made.I already downloaded the Adobe Macromedia Flash Pro 8 trial but it has ended.

Free swf and other format editor. You can create a lot of stuff...see the samples (file->samples)

No freebies but pretty darn cheap...Kool Moves is one and Anime Studio is the other. Kool Moves site uses their own name, Anime Studio is at e-frontier. Kool Moves is more like a 'cheap Flash', with interactive and scripting abilities. Anime Studio is more towards animation, with 'boning' abilities and optional lip sync software.
Both weigh in at around $50 apiece, pretty cheap for what they do.
And if you are into frame by frame drawing, check out Project Dogwaffle, they ahve a free version, and GIMP has an animation module. I don't believe either of these will do any tweening of shapes however.

Ok thank you but do these have actionscript because it is really useful( can make preloaders, games...etc)??
Kool Moves probably has pre-loaders or the ability to create them. I don't believe Anime Studio does however. E-frontier also has another specifically web-flash program for about $50. Don't know it though.
But if you are creating something big enough to need a preloader, you may want to spend the money on a complete and stable web animation program like flash.

i have downloaded live surf and thanks for the link as adobe have made all the expensive programmes order only due to people downloaded trial versions and using keygens. lol
i chose Macromedia Flash Pro 8, and like to use it
The thing you all must understand, is that Flash works with vectors. This is how you can zoom in and out on your creation without them losing quality.
what you should look for is a free vector-based paint program. inkscape.org has some nifty stuff, although you can't animate with it. If you're looking into taking vector design into the next level, Adobe Illustrator CS3 is proving to become very good, and handles vectors like a charm. Of course, the only program I can think of that can animate, is unfortunately Flash.

If you are talking about liveswif, yes, it can. You can click file->samples to se some samples made by the support team. You can see some preloaders and a game. It isn't too fancy, but it is a game.
