I lived in the Islands of Hawaii for 11 years before moving to the mainland, had to give a few people a wierd look for telling me "Welcome, how does it feel to live inthe US? Rolling Eyes

I learned lots of things from living in two very different places, I think Hawaii is a more racial tolerant place due to the fact that many different races moved to the islands, Americans moved in towards the beginning of the 20th century, asians arrived in the late 1860's and who knows how the islanders got there, anyways back to topic I lived in Portland,OR for awhile, nice place different climate, people were nice tough lots of more gang activity in the area I lived, but of course a huge advantage of living in Portland was things such as lower gas, prices...heck lower prices for everything, milk is $7 in Hawaii

Anyways that's all I will tell know, If you ever visit Oahu please venture out of Waikiki and see what the island is really about.
