Problems with browsers

tkGER
I am not really sure what is going on, but it's been a while since everything was right with my web browsers...
There are lots of stuff going wrong. To start with, there are some images which my browsers don't show (I use both Opera and Firefox) but there are others which are displayed. Another problem is that they sometimes load "old versions" of the sites I visit, no matter how many times I hit the refresh button. Sometimes my Gmail just won't open and it keeps reloading, although the browsers have permission to store cookies.
I had installed IE 7, as it came out, but then I uninstalled it because it just made my computer crash every now and then... could this be related to the problems I'm experiencing with opera and firefox??
If anyone knows how can I solve this LOAD of problems, I'd be really thankfull Wink

it sounds like you need to clear your cache, you can google how to do this, each browser has a different way to access the cache options

IE 7 that craches your system!!! r u using the beta version or downloaded from elsewhere....

the solution that seems right at the moment is - your system needs to be formatted as i suspect it got lots of unwanted softwares install and they are eating up your memory... yeah cleaning may help but 'format' is the best choice'

If you still experienced the problems.
Please run the netmeeting software and allow someone you trusted to remotely control you computer then to check and repair it.

The IE 7 should not be crash you computer. I'am using it and work fine on my windows server 2003 computer.

Please download this utility and do a self checking and testing.

use the process explorer and autoruns to make sure that no invalid process are running; and the hijackthis to confirm that system is clean

Or, you can post the screen shot here.

check your system for spywares and adwares
to get the current page on firefox press cntrl + f5
as for your crashes it may be that by uninstalling internet explorer7 some system files may have been deleted
you should run sfc/SCANNOW on the command prompt (insert your windows cd after you are prompted)

Try flushing your DNS. See if you OpenDNS solves those problems.
In Opera Tools-->Pref->Advanced->History set documents and images to check always.
Next up make sure there is no malware in your system.
