The much talked about new style for phpbb3, proSilver, has officially been made available for viewing as the default style on phpbb's community website. This is the first time the main website has been upgraded and using phpbb3, as well as the first time the new proSilver style has been made available for viewing to the public. There is no download of the style available yet for fans who want to use it for their phpbb3 forum, yet it will be included with phpbb3's final release, but hopefully in a release candidate before then.

I can sum up the updated phpBB site in one word: horrendoushey the new site luks cool. let me check out their features. have been waiting for sometime for this new update. thanx for the notification.

The forums are not that clear anymore.
They have put the posters info on the right side i o left.,...
I will stick to the previous version.

The thread view is surely new and also not automatically adjustable to the 800*600 screen resolution which I use. The avatar system is on the right side in place of left side. It is new so it will take time to adjust. However, It has a nice new navigation and design looks some what more professional. I think they will be doing more work on it in coming days.Its a bit of a culture shock,for those used to phpbb2,the whole right hand side for user info looks strange to the point of pointless,i hope this isnt going to be the case for all the themes,and its unique to the one shown.
I think it's terrible. They better include subsilver in the original release. Where did they get the idea to put userinfo on the right???
It's not professional at all from a user's point of view. Maybe from an artist's - but a forum ain't no painting!
perhaps it times to upgrade to this version 
Subsilver and prosilver will be included in the official release.
The main pro's of the new look is that it's 100% css driven, tableless design, and flexible width for pages.
The design was just released in phpbb's CVS repository.
