Got my hands on it few days ago.
In a couple of minutes I already knew how to pronounce and write simple phrases (other language than English, obviously).
Anyway, it looks like a good piece of software.
Here's the site:
http://www.rosettastone.com/en/?a=b
Thats why the worlds leading companies use it! I have a friend who works for their DC branch and he says that everyone from government officials down to hobbiest use the software. What little bit I have used it has been fantastic - an awesome resource for anyone interested in foreign languages.
Sounds nice. I looked at the site, and I am looking at the Flash-demo. Too bad there isn't a downloadable demo.
I've seen it being sold in the airport its about 100 or 200 USD.
i've used it for some time and i think i will continue using it to learn Swedish.
Very easy to use and no basic knowledge needed.
didn't buy it though
rosettas software is very nice, not the best though, ut very good indead!!!
It's very repetitive, but it works quite well, IMO.
yesterday I got DVD Rosetta Stone 26 languages. Well... I am not sure if I learn all of them and know these languages very good. May be it helps just for pretty beginners. I can not say that it's the best software for learning but it's ok. I will tell more later when I finish to study some language on this DVD
yeah it looks like a good piece of sofware, but when you look at the details it isnt that good.
actually it sucks, sorry i said that.
if i get better software ill post it on a forum
