If you really want to check for viruses, you should download HijackThis. HijackThis is a general-purpose processes/startup/services scanner. The log produced by HijackThis is valuable to an expert to determine whether there really is a virus or not.
1. Extract hijackthis_199.zip to your desktop.
2. Open HijackThis.exe.
3. Click on "Do a system scan and save a log file".
4. HijackThis will now scan your computer. The scan usually takes a few seconds only.
5. Once the scan is complete, Notepad will open with the log file in it.
6. Post the contents of the log file in your next reply. Someone might be able to assist you.
