i am working on a new project and i am working on building a shopping cart. are there any good free programs? or good websites that will teach you how to build one and learn the basics? thanks in advance. im searching on my own also just wanted to see what you guy's experience was.

The best solution to have a good and working site is for example:
1. install Joomla CMS
2. install VirtueMart or OScommerce...
I prefer Virtuemart because it´s made to work with Joomla, support 20+ languages and lot of add-ons are available. AND it´s very stable

Oscommerce is good, simple to use and install.
I use it/play about with it.
Got a lot of add-ons but does take a while to install them.
