Well the World Cup has started in the West Indies. What is a great festival of sports actually started off for me with a nightmare.
Pakistan, my country, my team has lost the opening game against hosts West Indies.
The Windies were better though.
Pakistan missing a lot of key players such as Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Asif and Shahid Afridi. Not to mention Abdul Razzaq.
Well i hope they do better in their next game.

First of all sad to hear about the death of the Pak coach. It must have been ver sad and traumatic for the players and for Pakistan as a whole.

Secondly, I hope that the Indians take a hint from this experience and learn some lessons. Yes Tandulkar was a great player...but that was a some 10 years ago. He is past his prime and it is time to get over his celebrity status and get some new players if you want to compete in the world stage. Cricket is not played on TV Advertisements. It is played on the field and he is doing nothing for the team.

If this was football we would not have to go through the torture of having to watch him play anymore.
