I wouldn't bother submitting your site to search engines. They'll pick you up anyway as soon as you get enough inbound links coming to your site. What you should really focus on instead is submitting to web directories. Do a search in the mighty G for 'free web directories'.
Submitting your site offers no value at all. You need links to your site that the bots can follow and index it naturally. The more links the better.
