Hmm... guys, we can already create a fan club of Detroit Pistons!=)))
I'm their supporter too. Since 1998 year.
Also I like Phoenix Suns.

Well I'm a Raptors fan coming from Canada. They aren't the best, I know, but I still got my pride for this team. Outside from this, I love the Lakers. They made me watch basketball again during their Three-peat days.
I'm a fan of "The" Chicago Bulls, hoping we can get back to the top, we had our supreme years and our down right embarrasing years, but Krause has gotten us back to the top again. Hopefully with the help of fans and Skiles we can win it all this year....it's a long shot but weirder things have happend.
my favorite team is the Sacramento Kings. One day soon, they are going to get back into contending shape! The kings needed to get rid of some useless baggage like Chris Webber and Peja. Soon they will be back on top! Thanks for asking...

Umm...Chris Webber left about 3 years ago and Peja has been gone over a year....
The Los Angeles Lakers BABY! Kobe Bryant is the next Jordan. He is the best offensive threat in the game today, and I'm glad he's still with the Lakers. They just need to supporting cast to step up and the Lakers can make a run for the title
I like the Spurs.
Tim Duncan rocks!

For me I love the Pistons with Ben Wallace and their lineup when they grab their Ring.. but today I am with the Pistons Rasheed Wallace has been the old reliable who will somehow dominate the boards and paint either way.. with Tayshaun Prince a versatile young player who can be matched up for the best offensive players in the league a great defender and with Rip Hamilton which mastered the are of Mid Range jump shot on his arsenal. And the court general Chauncey Billups who led the team to the finals.. last last last year... hehe.. CWEBB will definitely retire soon.. so the Pistons needs another Big guy same as CWEBB's capabilities or a Ben Wallace type of player... Pistons all the way I love also the Wizards with Agent Zero... too bad they loose him before the playoffs began.
I hope that in the playoff The Suns will win the Spars And will reach the finall.
dallas mavericks
my fav is the washington wizards, I used to like the bulls, but now they're the wizards

Hahaha i like that! its getting harder to hate the knicks now because they are so bad....
i love Los Angeles Lakers
yeah pistons lost to THE CLEVELAND CAVS who lost to the spurs in four measly, boring, *YAWN* wait what was i talking about?
for those of you who dont understand, what i am trying to say is the NBA is a washed up league, if you want to see watered down sports, the NBA is where you wanna be. i say watch some college basketball, there is nothing like DUKE vs. UNC at cameron indoor, its amazing. i would rather watch that on tv than go to game 7 of the NBA championships to watch a bunch of guys w. gray beards travel all around the court and "dive" (im using a soccer term because idk what else to call it). the old quote "in the NBA the players play for the name on the back of there jerseys and in college they play for the names on the front of there jerseys" is one of the best quotes ever. it is so true. half of the college teams dont even have names on the back of there jerseys, why? tradition, heart, teamwork, and just the sheer fact that they CHOOSE to play at that school, which is why i think they play with more heart, because they are PROUD of who they play for, they dont play for the money, they dont play for the fame, they dont play for the women, they play to win the game.
another thing that makes the post season in college far superior than the post season in the NBA is the one & done aspect, it makes every game THAT much more exciting.
also the regular season is better because there are about 25-30 games, depending on your schedule, not 83, so u can take every 4th game off, in the college season, if you take ONE game off, that could ruin your season.

San Antonio Spurs! Definetly the best team! Ginobily and Oberto rip it!
Some help from Argentina right?
Some help from Argentina right?
I like the Laker's. Right now they're in a bit of a slump with Kobe doing all the work. But I think they're only one player away from getting back to their championship days.

haha i hope you realize the NBA season is over. they just had the draft, remember that? lol or have you been stuck in a hole for far to long. yeah and that one player away is in terms of losing one, not necessarily gaining one. for any of you :ahem: ric05 :ahem: that didnt get it i mean losing kobe, the greedy fool that he is. (any genuine reason to change your jersey number besides for the money attributed to jersey sales?)
I'm a lakers fan. Have been from before I even knew what basketball was. last season was a very disappointing one for all lakers fans. but it did show some flashes of how it could be with the right moves. And no its not getting rid of kobe. Kobe isn't going anywhere and he knows it. he has no leverage to force the organization into getting rid of him. I think that just by getting rid of Smush Parker, signing Fisher, and Staying healthy they will end up in the top 5 in the west (which also means top 5 in the league). They still have room to pick up another player. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for jermaine oneil. And to say that Kobe is "Greedy" because he changed his number is just ridiculous.
The Lakers are really looking tough with Bynum getting ready for the next season. I hope Lakers would have one final movement by the end of the off season to help their team and Kobe win some games.
Spurs! when i was just a high-school student, I had been caught by Tim Duncan and his Spurs! There have got four O'brein Cups, and Tim is the "Truth" all the time. Many peploe consider him to be the greatest powerful forward all the time in the NBA history too.Once, his partner are David Robinson, Sean Elliot, Terry Porter, then turn to be Derek Anderson, Stephen Jackson, and now Tony Parker and Manu Ginobli, but Tim stay up like a rock! Spurs is amazing both in deffens and team offens under the leading by Tim and Greg, and take great effect by Buford and Holt!
Grizzlies and Toronto, both with some of the best players of the best team... the Spanish National Team, current World Champions
I'm here again to say that in this season, I will support another team besides my forever love Indiana Pacers, they are......Golden State Warriors.
You know I think most people who love basketball will love the way Warriors played, taught by their Head Coach, Don Nelson.
Warriors plays in the way that Phoenix plays, but they are more agrressive and faster, that's why they could sweep Mavs out in last off-season.
This year with Nelson still seated in the Head Coach chair, and some young player's growing up, I think
Warrior could only get better than last season while they are now more familiar and fond of the "run and gun"

but my personal favorite is the suns with steve nash
but my personal favorite is the suns with steve nash
I'm a Lakers fan, plus we got the best Shooting Guard in the game
The 76ers baby! 2 more years, playoff contention!
Magic Johnson James Worthy Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Byron Scott A.C. Green Michael Cooper Kurt Rambis - those were the days...since relocating up north it is now the Kings since the 99 season!
The NBA (and quite frankly, basketball in general), is boring.
I know I will be clowned for this, but I have to go where my heart is... New York Knicks all day!!!
My favorite team was when Jordan was on the Bulls!!

So why bother posting in a thread about basketball if u dont like it? Is your life that boring and meaningless you have to post in a basketball thread and say u dont like it? Good work, buddy!
I don't really have a favorite team. Maybe the Kings...
Go Knicks! Not that we'll win anything soon, imo we need to fire Isiah and I actually seriously hope Dolan sells the team.
Guys i just wanna share the performance being made by MR. Moone of the Raptors the rookie..
I am really amazed how he plays on the court simple but full of intensity and excitement..
Im happy for the Raptors as this is what they are searching for a long time and i know it will be a good fit for moone to be in the raptors plus the young guns like Bargnani and the superstar Bosh give this raptors team another more year they will be monster... Shout out also to Dwights performance he is one huge monster in the paint..

Go Suns.
Started following them in the early 90's during the Barkley era. Then came Jason Kidd, then Penny Hardaway, Marion, Stoudamire, Marbury... now Nash.
Steve Nash is a gun.
For me the Orlando Magics look at Dwight Howards performance right now awesome 20 Rebounds almost 30 points per game and Rashard is just gaining his game back.. Tremendous improvement on Dwight and I hope no injuries will come with Dwight his a monster and with another new moves soon from Orlando this will be a great team soon..
Basketball is not my thing but if I had to pick one I owuld pick some obscure team like the Hornets or the Raptors mainly because no one else likes them :p
I like the lakers

Sure Suns and GSW are entertaining to watch but until these teams will learn to play tough defense they will never win a championship.
Anyway, my team is Utah Jazz.
The bulls
I'd say I like the Detroit Pistons just because of my dad. He grew up in Michigan and I grew up rooting for all the Michigan sports teams just because of him. Also, Lebron James in the playoffs last year was just amazing so I think I'm now a fan of his too, so by extension the Cleavland Cavaliers.
I'm even less into basketball than I am into football, but the Raptors have a cool name so I'll go with them. Seriously, my home team is the "Knickerbockers"? Come on...
Michael Jordan days, it was the Chicago Bulls. Currently though, I haven't really cared much about the NBA anymore.
Detroit Pistons of course, I'm from Detroit. I think they're going to at least go to the finals this year since our bench is way better this year compared to the last few years. Stuckey and Maxiell are probably the best 2 bench players in the league. Stuckey is doing real good for being a rookie.
ORLANDO MAGIC. GO HEDO GO.
HEDO = HE DO - HE DID - HE DOES
HEDO = HE DO - HE DID - HE DOES

i love watching them in the basketball court
love to see and copy some tricks they do during the game

I'm a huge Knicks fan, been one since I was very little. But it's been a disappointing few years to be a Knicks fan. Though David Lee is very much the man. So anyway, I jumped on the Celtics bandwagon at the beginning of this season. Before everyone was sure they were gonna have the chemistry and be able to share the ball. Now we know that that's not a problem
I think they'll take it this year, I think it's gonna be the Lakers and the Celtics in the finals, classic-style, and Boston's gonna take it in 7. That would be an awesome series.
I'm an Orlando Magic, stemming from the fact that I live in Orlando. None of my relatives had sports teams they liked before, so the Magic like other sports happened to be the local team that appeared most on television or other media coverage.
I am still an actively follower of the team even when they went through those lean years with Tracy McGrady after the string of success with Shaquille O'Neal. The fanbase is finally recovering with the current playoff success and development of Dwight Howard. We finally have a quality coach, a good general manager, and we're getting a new arena. Because our superstar is so young, I can expect we will be a fixture in the playoffs for the next decade if they continue to take the right steps with free agents. We have to improve in the draft though, get quality players with our picks in the 20's.

Now that the playoffs have started, I'm rootin' for the Cavs.
The" Chicago Bulls ftw
I have always liked the Los Angeles Lakers since 1996, when they acquired Kobe from the Charlotte Hornets (13th overall pick) and signed Shaquille O'neal to a blockbuster deal. Since then, they have flourished. Building an NBA team always takes time, and the Lakers showed their youth and athleticism throughout the next couple of years, until they signed coach Phil Jackson en route to three straight championships.
Although tension between Shaq and Kobe have led to an unfortunate parting, the Lakers are now contenders again with Kobe and Pau Gasol leading the way. GOOO LAKERS!!
