I have started a news wiki at http://news.5am.ca its nothing much at the moment, but the basic concept is that its a site where anyone is able to post news stories, and Yes I know its been done before by wikinews, but this concept is a little more liberal minded in its structure.

Hmmmm, the idea seems nice. However, it seems that it has been done before. Also, the layout loooks too much like wikipedia. If you're going to use an idea that has been used a least once, I would suggest creating a unique, nice layout that's easy to use while navigating through the site.
I don't mean to be harsh, so I am sorry if I sound so. I'm merely trying to help. Wink
