Hands up, I havent been known to use a certain well know image editor obtained by a less then legal source. But my justification is that I make no profit from it, only ever use it for a hobby / fun and to learn / expand my skills. If I was to pay for it, I would never buy it, not having enough of a reason to use it.
I'm not saying piracy is good, or defendable in anyway, but it does have its uses.
