we are less to use windows messenger,because MSN Messenger is more useful!if u feel it disturd you,u can try to uninstall it!
first click "Start",then click "Run",then write "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove".it is easy,hope this can help u.
Nice, You can uninstall it from the group policies program. (Start->Run->gpedit.msc) and search in the tree for a windows messenger option. It's a less destructive way and it allows to deactivate it only for some users.

i'm using xp & you don't do that!
Start/Control panel/Add or Remove programs/Add or remove windows components
Doing that & it will be removed but only temporarily if you want it back!

No, windows messenger is built in and doesnt appear there, only msn messenger appears in add & remove.if you want to kill windows messenger go to control panel/admin tools/ services/messenger . choose startup type / disable . no messeges no more , if you eant to start , choose start buton there .
