Q: Start-up Pop-up

During startup, since my computer was infected with a virus (but is already clean), the "My Documents" window opens, thus causing a lag. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

One possibility is that there is a shortcut to my documents in your statup folder to check goto: start>allprograms>startup> if the shortcut is there just delete it.

I just checked the start up folder and there isn't a shortcut there...

if you are using window xp then type msconfig on run... then disable if any unwanted programs run on startup..
