dumb nu-b question on phpmyadmin

Hi folks,

Sorry, this is such a dumb question...

I can login to the Direct Admin with my id/password, but phpmyadmin keeps rejecting me. should i apply for a new password for it?

You need to create a db via DA to login to phpmyadmin first. Should be underneath SQl Management or something of a similiar name.

not only that the login of phpmyadmin is in this format

{frihost login name}_{database user name}

eg. swizzy_mydbusername

Well, by default, we prefix your DA username to all your mySQL databases and users. This is to prevent many users trying to create a database with the same name Razz
