I don't know where this holiday is celebrated (wikipedia doesn't have this article 
) so I'm feliciating all women and girls around the world

Why the hell is this "day" necessary, oh yeah thanks 50% of worlds population for what you did for the other 50%!, this is so useless, why is there no mens day then? Are we useless or do women think that they are still considered inferior? Sorry but this is simply pointless...
Well, considering women have gone through more persecution than men, we should appreciate the advancement of civilization.

Actually, I'd have to agree with Reddishblue here. If it doesn't affect you, it shouldn't matter.
Although many wrongs were commited centuries past, on both sides, we should learn from our ancestors mistakes and move on.
Otherwise, we will be seeing the minories gaining more power. In my opinion, equality is the only way to the future.

Well, we in Ukraine have the Day of Defencemen of Homeland. It's on 23rd February and we list it like Day of the Men.
We must court the beautiful half of mankind and this day is our homage of respect for women for all that they do for us.

Well, I think Women's Day was started from an idéa in a house/disco for youngs in Denmark that is actually being demolished and that has lead to demonstrations and riots and such stuff. Demolished yesterday . Day before women's day.

Now that the women's day is finsh, the 364 days of the men's are begining!
(I'm joking of course!) Since the holiday has past, I think this topic has run it's course. On a personal note, I celibrate women daily...I don't think a special day is required...we already have valentines day.
