Style or speed?

I ride a Lambretta scooter, going no quicker really than 65 mph (110 kph)...I love their style & retro qualities.
Is it more important though to have a faster machine that I don't really have a love of?

In your situation, no, not unless you for some reason need to go faster than 65mph.
If you had a pressing need to go 80mph (such as on an interstate when everybody around you is speeding), you would regret your choice, but for all practical purposes 65 is enough.
