Compact Disc Technology

Tony The Tiger
Does anyone know about countering counterfeiting of compact disc productions. I am producing a video CD with a [[Lightscribe]] image. I intend to keep track of the serial numbers on all the discs that I produce. How difficult is it for someone to reproduce a lightscribe image without the original .jpg file? I.E., would a Lightscribe production of a scan of the disk be distinguishable from my originals? Also, how difficult is it to fabricate a serial number that would seem to be part of the set of discs I am producing?
