Hello! i just like to ask what amd processor can counterpart the core 2 duo of intel?
AMD or Intel!
There is no competition for that processor. If you wanted to go in a different direction, the AMD 64X2 processors would be comparable, but they're 64 bit, which a lot of software is not programmed to take advantage of. But, who knows what we'll see in a few months.
If you're going for a lap top, then I'd suggest the AMD, as it should use less power and not get as hot.
