Putting a search box on your site

I want to put a search engine on my site. A spider-based one. Nothing fancy, but I don't want any 3rd party logo, and I don't want a result page that I can't format to be similar to the site I am putting it on.

Does anyone know if there is a script lying around on the Internet that searches just your site and spits out a result page, without any Google or 3rd party logo where I can change the search box size and all that crap?

You can easily do that with beyondsitesearch. It is a search engine script with its own spider. Just tell the spider to crawl any website you want. You can also customize it fully to suit your website's look.

I'll look into that. I was hoping I could do it without any MySQL since they don't use that here. But I have Xampp installed on the development computer, so we'll see.
