Wanted: short film soundtrack

Hi everyone

I am making a short film at the moment about the indian ocean tsunami. It is a reflective film and most of my footage comes from south India and also from scottish shores.

Right now, I am almost finished but lacking a good quality soundtrack. I would like it to be a really subdued sound..reminiscent of the ocean, waves , stuff like that.

Can anyone help?

Try Inhale by Killswitch Engage. It's a really light soothing sound, and I think it would do pretty good, but it might not.

If you can post a quicktime file of it somewhere that I can download, I can get a better idea of what kind of music you might like. In an ideal situation I could download a reduced size quicktime file (say 320x240) and score the movie for you if you'd like. You can put a watermark on it to make sure no one tries to steal it....it's just easier to do a musical score for a movie if you actually have something to look at and synch to.

I don't know what NLE you use, but I will suggest you change your NLE to Ulead MediaStudio Pro 8, because whatever music you will add all will be copyrighted. You cannot use them when you are going public. In MSP8, you will find it has in-built of Sony SmartSound and SmartSound has some inbuilt tracks which are called 'QuickTracks'. Those tracks are all royalty free. Moreover they are stretchable. So you can fit those tracks for any time length.
