phpmyadmin login incorrect

Could it be that my login for phpmyadmin (which should be same as my regular login right?) isn't working.

I've tried logging in several times with the username and password that I have gotten for the DirectAdmin/FTP, but it isn't working when I want to login in phpmyadmin. Am I doing something wrong?

You first have to create a database and database user using Directadmin: http://www.site-helper.com/mysql.html#create
