http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuPAND_iKE0 here is the video i made . its a trailer for detroit pistons..... i know some of you dont like them
just comment on the video...........
Not bad, not bad at all........I watched it (ignoring the low res) and enjoyed it...even though I have no idea who they are
Nice editing, the sound mixing was pretty good as well. Obviously a lot of work has gone into the specific cuts. Maybe if there was anything to be improved possibly variation of footage a bit more, less repeated bits but none-the-less it worked well!
Great stuff but as previously stated - the quality of footage sucked.
Very good-especially at the begining, nice grafx to video transitions/cuts. My 2 cents: Trim it to 30 seconds (by deleting the repeats first) and ramp up the same level of visual energy you had at beginning at the end, driving towards your final title. Let the slower/repeat parts in the middle.
Nice job though, I like it.
It's good. Could've been some different music, but still good. Also try to get video without the "rasheed - forward" bar appearing. It kinda ruined the effect.
Really nice editing.
Here's a trailer I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ir6QZ4jZY
thats so tight! i love ti! damn u are good. keep going man, they gonna win championship this year with chris webber
nice tnx for the good comments guys........actually i just made that trailer in a hurry. so its not so perfect, about the resolution of the video, actually its a small video, but when i uploaded it on youtube, it resize it so thats what happen
not bad dude!! just some more editing would help... but add more mystery to the trailer, it would create more interested viewers but just be careful not to overdo it, it could be a turn off.... so far NOT BAD... all the best mate!! cheers!!
Crappy quality and all but i liked the font and the music and all. I thought it was decent. What program did you use to edit that?
Excellent use of footage, but I have two suggestions:
1. Don't use repeats excessively. Repeating a clip is fine, but you were repeating a sequence, about three times. Once is enough, keep the audience engaged with changing content.
2. The intro sound to the text is a bit annoying - much louder than the music and in an annoying high-pitched kinda noise. They take attention away from the music, and cause abrupt change in focus. Personally, i'd use something with more bass - like that giant-rock falling kinda noise. Bass would blend better with the music, and you could make it quieter without making it hard to hear.
Overall, though, an excellent use of footage, and excellent editing.
Next time, try making it a bigger resolution. Other than that, just keep the hype up throughout the whole sequence and you'll be a for sure pro! Keep up the good work!
Hey Budazz, I liked it. Nice pacing and energy to it. The only thing I'd suggest is having a larger variety of images. Other than that, good stuff. Btw, what programs did you use for the fonts and transitions?
that was generally good, but yes bigger resolution definatly. what software did you use?
i agree with tommypander, and id really like to know what programs u used and your techniques
