Nice site man. cool but still pro looking lay out.
Just one question. Why do you have a login box in the images screen but not in the other screens ?
Thought it might be to view the pictures, but I could see the pictures without loging in. So what is the point of it on the images screen
I've had the hardest time deciding what i think about this site. It visually looks good, the code looks clean, and it really has a professional polish.
Two pieces of advice/questions.
1. what is the point of the site. Is it a personal site, a professional site, a resume/portfolio site? Right now, it seems to be all of these. Which one is most important?
2. If you are job hunting, be careful about mixing your personal stuff in with your professional stuff.
Do those make sense? If you want to build an anime like personal page.. do so. If you want to build a clean, professional, polished web designer for hire page, do so. Putting them together might degrade the quality of one or the other. You don't want your personal opinions to cause you to lose any jobs.
Just my opinion... The site as it stands looks awesome, and the coding is clean.
well currently the site is being used for my school portfolio work and the projects that I work on at school.
The login section on the images section is for the ability to comment, it was also just to showcase my understanding of PHP and SQL.
The blog section there now may seem like a personal site but I will be changing the blog section to a more professional content appeal.
The images in the images section right now are just images that I have done and used just as filler to populate the area. These will later be replaced with higher quality work that I have done.
Eventually it will be my specific portfolio site that I will dispense to prospective employers. Sort of like an interactive resume if you will.
This is still in a semi-early stage of development but within the year I should have all the little parts worked on and up to date. For the index page I didn't add the /> nor the alt attribute while I was testing the code, I just havent gotten around to fixing it lol.
Thanks for the reviews everyone. I really appreciate it.
It's good but it's a bit plain. No offence but I think it needs more content.
I only visited the homepage, but your CSS skills are quite good from what I can see.
Very nice design.
