Anyone hear of Formula 51?

I was clicking through the channels last night and found the movie Formula 51. I have caught bits and pieces of it, but up until last night had not watched it from beginning until end.

The movie is about a drug created by a black man wearing a kilt (Samueal L. Jackson). He tries to sell it to various characters claiming it is 51 times better than anything out on the market. Losts of shady deals here and there. Some bullets fly. Great dialouge that had me laughing. Not to mention all the quirky characters. this movie is automatically a top for me.

Anyone else catch this movie?

Yea - but in England this movie is called "The 51st State" ...

It's a fantastically funny film - good acting, good action, good comedy value.

Perhaps one of my favourite movies starring S.L. Jackson - and Robert Carlyle is brilliant as usual.

Yeah the 51st State is a good movie. I hired it once with little expectation and was pleasantly suprised with how good it was.

Certainyl worth a wtach if you are at a loose end.

I thought you were talking about some kind of weird drug company racing movie at first!

I have seent he movie -- the best part is at the end when they start talking to each other about the plan and it starts to repeat what they were saying at the beginning of the movie!

Pretty decent movie it was. Not the usual Sam L Jackson in it though
