Do anyone knows if there's a stable device driver for this damns audio card that actually works under Mac, I'm getting a little unstable about this whole thing.
AC'97 Sound Driver for Mac OS X Tiger
My realtec AC97 audio worked fine on OSX 10.4.6, and so did the Conexant on my laptop. Both onboard sound.
Are you referring to the original mac OSX or OSX86 for intel machines? I Tried to install OSX86 as a trial on my laptop which has a SoundMax AC'97 based chipset i could not get it to work at all with OSX86, in the end gave up and now use Ubuntu Linux 
It would be interesting to here if anyone else managed to AC97 working and which chipset they have.
