I had a power supply die on my main computer, right now I'm looking at one of Antec's NeoHE power supplies (3x 12v rails, modular, ~80% efficient, active pfc, 430 or 550w) but although they've been reviewed well by websites, they aren't thought of highly by individuals (such as the reviews on newegg).
Has anyone used these psu's, what is your experience?
I hear Antec are nice PSU's, however if you are into gaming and such, you would much be better off with an Enermax. Any true gamer would choose Enermax for a PSU because the quality is awesome. I would personally recommend the Enermax 535W All In On SLI Ready PSU, I have it, it has 2 fans, it's quiet, does not make a sound.
Enermax are pretty good, they are rebadged Seasonics. So they are definently top-tier or at least very close. If you want to get top of the line, get a PC Power and Cooling PSU, but they are WAY out of budget.
