I have a question about the program, The Gimp 2. How would I deselect the text box after adding text so I can continue editing the graphic? When I add text, the text is selected and I can only edit the area inside the text selection.
~Thanks for your help
Does clicking outside the text box work?? I don't use Gimp but that's how other photo-editing programs work. You could also choose the mouse or selector as the cursor. Not sure.
When you create text, it creates a new layer for your text. So all you have to do is select the old layer, or right-click on the new layer and choose Merge Down to combine the two layers. HTH.
Choosing another brush may also work. I'm not sure what you're looking for but I'd guess that the answer is now here, from one of these choices.
