Hi i need help very quickly. i have downloaded the drivers directly from the epson site for the correct printer and iv got the printer working but the scaner wont work it says its not conected. i need help with this as soon as possible. thank you in advance.

How is everything connected? Are your scanner and your printer each on their own ports? Or is the printer connected to the scanner and the scanner connected to the computer?
Does the scanner work without the printer being attached?
What kind of printer do you use?

its an all in one and it connects through USB and its a epson rx520 it should all go through the same port but it says that the scanner is not connected it works on another pc but not on my girlfriends new laptop. iv found the cd for it and installed it from the cd it still doesnt work.
