Are original MP3s allowed? I ask because I am considering doing a type of Internet talk radio site, where I would host MP3s that I created. There might be small clips of music in the background, but I wouldn't be hosting full songs or anything.

Is this allowed?

You have to make a formal request in the Request an account change forum.

Make sure that you clearly mention what kind of audio files these will be, what their content is, and how big they're likely to be.

Also, I dont think Frihost will allow you to put mp3s as a background soundtrack even for a few seconds if they are copyrighted. Just ensure everything is original or you have written permission from the owners
