London Shootings

TribalArt
As we all know tehre has been some tragic shootings in london over the past few days. This has been shown in nearly all of the papers.

Many were of teenagers often caught up in gangs and drugs/guns etc.

I wonder who is really to blame?

The gangs themselves
The child for getting involved - often referred to as a 'fallen soldier'?
The parents for not bringing their children up to be civilised?
Or is it the laws of the lands being to easy?

What do you think?

Parents aren't alowed to chastize their children (I'm NOT talking child beating).
The children know the law can't touch them.
Certain individuals exploit the youths knowing the law cannot touch them.

Lets step back a few years and re-think it all, tell the "do-gooders" to shut up for a while.

If not then you must accept the inevitable and that you won't like!

My sentiments exactly! I could not agree more.

I am so pleased there is someone willing to speak up like this. It is so easy to disagree with these comments but if you disagree then you must be willing to come up with a better solution or stop complaining when things like this happen.

My feelings are quite radical on crime and punishment and the bottom line is that too many people are simply not afraid of the law.

Everything is there to protect the criminals and nowhere near enough is done for the victims.

Make the punishments harsh enough so that those who may be tempted to stray from the straight and narrow pee in their pants at the very thought of the punishment that awaits them.

There will always be those who are hardened enough to commit the crimes no matter what the punishemnt so they deserve these punishments anyway. It is those who are on the fence when it comes to law breaking that should be saved by the fear of discovery and punishment.

You can blame anything you like for a criminal's behaviour but a victim does not care if those who defiled thier life came from a broken home etc. there are plenty of people who come from the rudest of beginnings who manged to struggle on and have productive and law-abiding lives - these people need the support of do-gooders not those who chose the esy route.
