Hi i'm still a linux noob so sorry if i'm typing nonsense 
Ok. here goes!
I'm trying to install Vendetta the space MMOPRG game for linux as i mentioned i'm using the Ubuntu edgy distro, i have obviously downloaded the package from the website:-
http://mirror.milw.vendetta-online.com/vendetta-linux-ia32-installer.sh
i have the file 'vendetta-linux-ia32-installer.sh' on my desktop i have navigated to the desktop in the terminal then typed :-
sudo sh vendetta-linux-ia32-installer.sh
the installer starts to run then seems to get stuck in a loop saying that it cant find a folder named /usr/home/mypc/bin do i want to create it?
I have created the folder manually as at this stage the installer is stuck in a loop and not responiding.
I now tried the installer again this time everything seems ok no errors, the installer has created an executable in the folder /usr/home/mypc/bin/ when i execute it it opens up what appears to be an update tool then it dissapears of the screen and thats it?
I'm pretty sure that it simply isn't installed propperlly as there are no data files installed anywhere and the executable file is only a few Kb in length.
Any help would be greatfuly appriciated.
