So, I installed OpenSuSe 10.2 through Internet Install.
But I haven't got it started up yet. When I try, first there is the text-based loading screen. Then the screen gets black with a cursor, and it starts to flicker. Sometimes if I press a button it stops flickering and nothing more happens.
It's really weird..

I doubt that this is an issue, but any help offered is something right?
Some of the Kernels have issues with P3's.

I can't even get to the login... And nothing happens when pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 at any screen.
So what should I do?
Try a different distro. Try Mandriva or Ubuntu, and see what you get.

I've had Ubuntu running on it for about half a year without problems. Now I just want to try OpenSuSe..
In GRUB, try booting with 'acpi=off', I had a similar issue with 9.3 and it worked.

Or download the full install and not the online since if your internet drops and then the computer restarts it might want to continue install but eth0 is not initilized. I had this problem too during the install/update
