My new video

Hey guys, I havn't been around for a while but that's mainly because I've been busy. I managed to get round to making a new video. It's an abstract B&W film - the first I've done with my new setup so I need some feedback on it.

That is an interesting piece.
I didn't really get it though.

The first half was cool example of the stark black and white difference between extremes in technology and nature.

But, that vibe got smashed in the second half with the variety of images of religion, childhood, city life etc.

Maybe break it up into a collection of short pieces so each focuses on the juxtaposition and contrasts between only 2 subjects at a time.
Then the collection as a whole could encompass the feeling you were going for.

Yeah it's interesting you say that - I'm not quite sure what hapened. At first I was going strongly for entirely countryside because where I live in the winter is really depressing - it fitted the song but I got distracted towars the end I guess. When I was filming it I only had one 20 minute disc free so it was pretty tight Sad

Nice one dude but it needs more contrast. There are too many shots that look really drab and dull. Pushing up the contrats will make it all the more interesting.

Thanks agustin - I think I've got the most interest in this video than any of the others we've worked on in the past. We joked about the B&W "arty" feel to it drawing attention but I didn't think it would look good enough for people to like it.
