i wud like to know abt p2p.it is perhaps peer to peer networking.please tell me more abt it as what it is and where it is used etc.

Ever heard of the Gnuttela Network? That's what limewire works on...
Ever heard of BitTorrent? That's another p2p network...
Ever heard of wikipedia? It's got some great information on p2p...

And off course, howstuffworks, always good for a good explanation
a p2p (or peer 2 peer in full) is network to which you can connect in order to exchange information (read "files") . and as mentioned , imagine almost every program which is used to exchange files and you have an example of an p2p network usage.

A fine example of the sort of spam comment I think we may experience from now on in this thread.
MrBlueSky and Hogwarts provided some good links that should help explain what p2p is - there are plenty of other resources available on the web too.
