Should I invest in Mutual Funds first or should I go straight to Stocks. This is my first investment, but I have been to some investment guides.

If you looked at the average income of stockbrokers, no, i highly doubt any of them are on a free hosting site's forums, at least no good ones.
I reccomend you start with mutual funds if you can't afford to lose every dime you put in your investment account. Take this from a relatively experienced amateur investor, who's made an average of 45% gain yearly on my own investments.
