It doesn’t matter, people distracted by such things wouldn’t car anyway. If they did, it would be superficial and temporary at best.
^That's right: anybody who's flaky enough to be distracted by such things as those to the extent that they pay attention to nothing else shouldn't be participating in politics anyway. Such people would accept the picture given to them by the media at face value, and just increase the media's disturbingly large power over the people.

Every body is affected by the material they are shown, because every person wants to feel they belong, the mdeia is a powerfull way of showing us images which affect our knowledge of our tribe. Its like pack relations over national and internation scales. I think to dismiss people as being dumb is cruel and bitter. Most people are very clever, however they attune themselves to things they think other people will be interested in, so if they think most people will care about anna nicole smith then thats what they will watch. In this way the media do directly influence thought through the power they have to affect whats popular, thay cant affect peoples preferences but thay can control the options.

There are many reliable, even mainstream sources linking the CIA to drug trafficking. Haven't ever noticed that the so called "war" only starts after the mass distribution? How about our currency and the fact that the world has to trade for oil in dollars? creates a massive demand for our currency and all the global power brokers have to do is use any of their other puppet governments to call in those notes. The reality wouldn't be "crash", it would be a CRUSHED economy!
