how does your religion affect your view of global warming?

I'm also going to post this in the science forum.

I get the feeling that climate change deniers are mostly from 2 groups:
    - those with a vested interest in energy companies
    - religious "conservatives" (not the perfect word, but "extremists" is worse)
The energy people have to much to lose financially, so basically just don't care about the future, the religious believe God is causing global warming or that he will save us from it.

If you don't believe in climate change or don't think it'll be that bad, which group would you say you're in?

Also, how do religions other than Christianity weigh in on climate change?

I don't think religion effects climate change whatsoever.

People are stupid and arrogant, they waste when they shouldn't and therefore we're killing the earth.

God isn't causing global warming, though he is allowing it to happen. He can't just let us live consequence free.

Now let this be a lesson to all of us - recycle, don't waste water or electricity and walk or take public transport when you can. It doesn't take a lot to help. Everyone saves 1 watt of power, we save 20 billion watts of power. That's 20 billion watts worth of greenhouse gasses that isn't released into our atmosphere.

Do it, it's not that hard.

It makes me think it is hot.

How exactly can one 'not believe' in global warming. That is like saying that you don't believe in cats. There is rather a lot of evidence for both, and even the most fanatic zealot would be hard pressed to deny them!

I have never considered ANY correlation whatsoever between global warming and religion. Please someone enlighten me.

It makes me believe that I must protect God's earth. He did not want us to exploit it the way that we do as we drive around our SUV's to work with only one person in them.
