I recently was doing a Reverse IP lookup on my domain.
I found that :
290 other sites hosted on this server. [server 2]
Also,
68 other sites were hosted on server 1. [Apart from Donutey's site, which was the one I used for the check]
Another such tool told me that 316 domains were pointing toward server 2 and 84 or so to server 1.
If the no. of accounts on server 1 is around 90 and server 2 is indeed 300 or so, then why is the load not being equally distributed?
Also, Is this the reason for sites on server 2 suffering time outs apart from the occasional stupid user putting bad scripts?
If that may be the case, why are new accounts still being added to server 2?
Or is it that server 2 can hold more capacity than server 1?
Please explain.
