Thats for sure....I think it'd be more believable if the countdown actually counted down - like the number in the middle actually went down only one when the number on the right went down ten - cause to me it just looks like the numbers randomly go down from 9 over and over again until the first two numbers are 0, then it just appears as zero. But nevertheless hilarious. But also kinda terrible.

I would try this there has been far to many occasions where annoying people have been sat next to me on planes combined with my inability to sleep while flying leads to many disturbing restless and loooong flights.

I can imagine the guy beside you jump and shout "oh my god is a bomb!!!" 
It's politically incorrect, but very good; I laughed out loud and I don't see anything wrong with it at all - good joke. It could create quite a panic on the plane to be honest, imagine the person sitting next to you screaming - throwing your laptop the floor and running down the isle "He's got a bomb! HE'S GOT A BOMB!!".

Yeah I thought that the time was a little short to milk the joke for all you can get.
May be better five minutes and leave your laptop running while you go to the Toilet. Okay it may be in several small pieces when you return but it would be funny (for about two seconds before your are hog-tied with cable ties and beaten into oblivion with a steel coffee pot by a petite stewerdess called Trixie trained in the art of ninjitsu by the Airline). Or am I maybe just realising some twisted secret fantasy I ahve been harbouring in the back of my mind all these years???
PS Please don't be stupid enough to try this anywhere on a real plane (ther ARE people who would I know - especially those Jackass wannabes among us). And certainly don't try it on a flight I am on with my family - I would find it hard to find the funny side in the real world and would find it even more difficult to vent my agression elsewhere but toward you once the flight landed and I am sure I would not be alone, in fact I suspect I would be at the front of a very long line.That seems sort of frightening. Of course, only if it was a bomb, not the countdown before you receive a special gift from a friend who lives nearby. Or a girlfriend.
As amazing as that would be to watch, I don't think that anyone could get away with it.
But wouldn't that be amazing to rig up for "Punk'd"? Have it beep at each second; have it count down from, like, 5 minutes, and just walk away.

If so... Wow. This works well as an idea for a joke, a possible prank - and it gets some laughs. But seriously, someone actually did it? I must sound amazed, and I kind of am - but I suppose I shouldn't be, after all, there are some pretty foolish people in this world. He was making an amateurish "hidden camera"-style TV show. Serves him right. I am not sure if it was that exact flash, but it was something along the same lines...Lol, I don't think the person next to you is going to shut up, I think he would start praying, and screeming that they all gonna die....
