Pospisil questions Hartley sale
Hearts striker Michal Pospisil has questioned the wisdom of the club allowing Paul Hartley to join Celtic.
Pospisil, who rejected a move to Bristol City, said: "I'm disappointed. I don't like to see good players going out of the club, it makes us weaker.
"Paul was an excellent play-maker and that is an important position.
"He was able to decide a game, he was good at set-pieces and could set the tempo. We have lots cover but we don't have the same type of player here."
Hartley, who had 18 months to run, was sold to Celtic for £1.1m on the final day of the January transfer window.
And head coach Valdas Ivanauskas, planning for the Tennent's Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Dunfermline at East End Park, admitted the loss of the Scotland star was detrimental to his plans.
He said: "He is a great player. Last season he was not only one of the best players at Hearts, he was one of the best in Scotland.
"We will miss him but we have a big squad and other players must show how good they are.
"But he had an offer from Celtic and he left."
