A Spanish court case against former world boxing champion Scott Harrison has been postponed.
Harrison, 29, from Cambuslang, near Glasgow, was due to appear in court in Malaga to face charges of assault and attempted theft dating back to October.
His manager Barry Hughes said on Thursday he was planning to send a fax to the court from Harrison's doctor, seeking a postponement.
The case was put back to 15 March after the court accepted the no-show reasons.
Harrison spent almost five weeks in a Spanish jail after he was arrested on 6 October.
He was detained by the Guardia Civil in the Costa del Sol over allegations of assault and trying to steal a car.
In December he lost his WBO featherweight title after withdrawing from his title defence fight against Nicky Cook on medical advice.
