I know these threads aren't that popular but I had to answer it and say Chandler. So funny, witty and damaged.

I kind of see more of me in him than any of the others, I think you get a little drawn toward the character with whom you have the most empathy (IMHO).

I put Chandler too, but I have to say it took me awhile to answer the question. The sad thing is that I had never watched a single episode up until a couple years ago. Then I became friends with this girl at school and she has me completely hooked. Now I've see all of them! And I have to say as far as my favorite one goes, it goes from one to the next. Currently, I think they all have pretty annoying qualities, but I think that's because I've been watching the later seasons and they get more extreme as the shows progress. The writers capitalize on each character's own personalities to try to make the show funnier. I think they did a little too much of that in the end. Anyway, so though I voted Chandler, I can't say that I'll always agree with my vote.
