Okay, I'm on CS2 and for some reason that I'm just not seeing, I can't color-replace black with any other hues using the color-replacing brush thingy. I've screwed around with the tolerance, the opacity and the step, checked all my layer settings, even flattened everything and tried on a single standard layer... nothing. (I just want to convert sections of my lineart into rim contrast colors. TT__TT What the hell am I missing?!)
Easy PS question; I really should know this...
how about using selective colour? just change the neutral/black values.
Good idea, but I need to change portions of the black layer into different colors, depending upon what cell they're bordering... I suppose I could just highlight the lineart or use selectives to pick up a whole area and then paint it with a brush, but then I'd lose the anti-aliasing already worked into the black... or would I? o.o?
(I'm not on the right computer to check, darnit. ;_;)
Thanks; it really is a good idea. I'll definitely use it if I don't figure out this stupid color-replacer brush soon.
