Hello,

I have a VOIP and when people leave me a message on voicemail it sends to my email address as a wav audio file. But when i go to open them on the computer it says it cannot find the codec or anything what do i need to make it work?

contact the VOIP company, ask them what codec they use.

I have and they said its a normal wav file and to get the right codec for it.

Try using MPlayer or VLC Media Player to play it. These players come with all the codecs installed within themselves.

You shouldn't really need a codec to play a standard wav file. What program is the wav file extension associated with?

Mine is curretly associated with Winamp, and I'm not sure what the default is.
