Multi network controller?(Don't know what to call it.)

Saber
Well as I tried to make reasonable name for what I am looking for.
I was wondering if there is some software that lets me use two net works at the same time.

What I mean by that is,
The dorms that I live in have both wifi and a lan connection. Each one is limited to 768k and thats a bit slow for my taste, so I was hoping that I would be able to tap into both at the same time and the I could use one for downloading/browsing and the other to play games.

Any one know of what I'm thinking of? or what its called?

There's no reason why you can't connect to both at the same time; just connect normally. The problem is that your OS won't know which way to route Internet traffic (assuming they are both for accessing the Internet), so you will either end up with nothing working or it will all use the same connection.

hmm thats a bit sad to hear, but what about maybe virtual machines?
