I quite like the layout of the site - although it's clear you've still got some work to do to get the content finalised, it looks like a very good start. You could consider perhaps a menu bar along the bottom of the page to make it seem more complete.
However I don't like the combination of dark text on the dark brown background - this makes it very difficult to read. Why don't you try making all the text a lighter cream colour (as you've made the headings)?
So far so good but as Animal said - its a bit difficult to make any judgements until its got some content in there.
You might want to make the header a jpg to save some bandwidth. Also add a copyright div to the bottom of the page, and make the news box one the side integrate with the menu. Other than that the page's content isn't really up to my judgment, as I've never played Halo in my life.
