I was wondering if you could hook up like car audio components such as a subwoofer to a bookshelf audio deck. i have this bookshelf system: http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=MHCGX470&Dept=tvvideo&CategoryName=hav_HiFiSystems_MiniSystems
now im just guessing but if you hooked up a different sub to this head unit it wouldnt make any difference because the head unit will only pump out how much the original sub could take (150 watts) but thats just a guess. so if i hooked up a dual 12 inch subwoofer enclosure to this (if possible) it wouldnt make much of a difference in loudness but quality wise yes.
am i right or is this whole thing a bust?
feedback would be appreciated. if you need any pictures of the back of the head unit, deck or whatever u wanna call it let me know if it will help
