Hey guys, i am a muslim, and i do not believe in reincarnation. muslims believe in life after death, but not reincarnation.
the meaning of reincarnation is:

The belief that the soul, upon death of the body, comes back to earth in another body or form.

i find reincarnation a very interesting topic and i would like to know if you do believe it, then what makes you believe it?

i believe in re-incarnation . i have come across many cases where a small child can tell everything about a dead person , whom he claims to be in formor life.
just look at the procedure how Dalai Lama is figured out......it will surely
make you think again .

I wish reincarnation was true: that would give me the chance to be reincarnated as a horse. Unfortunately, I don't believe it. One of the reasons I don't is the total number of souls. When the world's population increases, where do the extra souls come from? Are they created if there are no older souls available? What happens if the world population goes down? Will there be a long waiting time for a new body to become available?

I don't believe in it, but seriously, the whole concept of reincarnation freaks me out. You come back as a horse or ant or something even worse, there's always that chance.

But it's surely an interesting topic, idea, as I'm pretty much interested in different cultures. I need to do some research, though, to form a proper conclusion...

The human body is like a machine that runs on a battery called the BRAIN.
When the brains dies, so does the body. (Unless you call COMA a life)
This bloody world gave words like soul and etc...

You might say one might come out a COMA - well now you can call that re-incarnation. That was officially being dead and then back.
Dont tell me, you burn the fkin body and he comes back in another and spook you all..!!
Boooo..!!
I read about alexander like crazy. Just coz I know his life story, doesnt mean I am the reincarnation of Alexander...!!

No, when we die, we just die.
I don't see how being reincarnated is any different from just dieing, all that makes you you disappears when you're reborn. You are, effectively nonexistent.

This whole line of reasoning assumes that Earth is the only place in the universe where souls can incarnate. This is sort of a mixture of the Medieval notions of the Earth as the center of the universe, combined with reincarnation. Earth may be the spiritual capitol of the universe, for all I know, but I would still expect there to be vast numbers of souls out there to migrate to all sorts of places as populations expand and shrink.

No, but there will be lots of red tape to get through, so it won’t be quick either. Bring a book!
